These sculptures were made after I photographed theViscid series. Following my final shoot for the series I saved an unused cupcake and let it sit on my desk for a week. When it became rock hard I decided to coat it in epoxy resin to officially preserve it (first image). It was a success, and more sculptures came. Each sculpture is a preserved dessert from the Viscid series. Some also contain parts of plastic plants which were also used in the series.
